Director of Operations
Role Overview

The Director of Operations owns the operational strategy and execution that enables TouchCare to scale. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader ensures that our people, systems, compliance, and business operations operate seamlessly, allowing teams to focus on delivering an exceptional member experience. Partnering closely with the executive team and functional leaders, this role builds scalable processes, mitigates risk, and drives operational excellence across a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Own and evolve TouchCare’s operational infrastructure as the company scales
- Identify and eliminate operational friction across teams
- Build repeatable, scalable processes and define ownership models
People Operations & IT
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding, systems access, and internal tools
- Lead internal IT operations, device management, and software licensing
- Ensure internal policies, documentation, and employee enablement
Security, Compliance & HIPAA
- Own SOC 2 compliance, Vanta administration, and audit readiness
- Lead HIPAA compliance, PHI workflows, and vendor readiness
- Manage vendor risk assessments, penetration testing, and incident readiness
Legal, Finance & Business Operations
- Oversee contract review, vendor renewals, and insurance programs
- Partner with Finance on billing operations, spend approvals, and reporting
- Support month-end close, forecasting inputs, and operational risk management
Product & Revenue Operations
- Partner with Product and Engineering on prioritization, releases, and risk management
- Support Sales and Client Services with Salesforce integrity, reporting, and RFPs
Experience & Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or a related leadership role
- Proven experience building and scaling operations in a high-growth, regulated environment
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare, benefits, insurance, or health tech preferred
- Hands-on experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, and audit readiness (Vanta or similar tools strongly preferred)
- Experience overseeing cross-functional initiatives spanning People Ops, IT, Finance, Legal, and Product
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes while remaining execution-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and owning decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and external partners

Location: Stamford, CT. This position will be in-person, 5 days a week in the office.
