Alabama

Currently eligible:

As of March 22, ADPH has extended eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations to include:

    • people age 55 and older
    • people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
    • the population defined as Allocation Phase 1c in the Alabama COVID‐19 Vaccination Allocation Plan which includes people age 16 to 64 with high-risk medical conditions

Florida

Currently eligible:

    • As of Monday, March 29, vaccine is available for:
      • persons 40 years of age and older;
      • persons determined to be extremely vulnerable by a physician (form required)
      • health care workers with direct patient contact
      • long-term care facility residents and staff
    • Effective Monday, April 5, 2021 all Florida residents shall be eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for persons 16 and up. The Moderna and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccines are authorized for persons age 18 and up.

Kansas

Currently eligible:

    • Kansas moved into Phases 3 and 4 on Monday, March 22. These phases include those
      with pre-existing conditions (adults between the ages of 16-64 years) and those who
      critical workers who are potentially exposed to COVID-19 in the workplace.
    • Phase 3 and 4 is expected to be completed towards the end of April, with general
      population vaccination starting in May. These dates continue to be dependent upon the
      vaccine available from the Federal Government.

Kentucky

Currently eligible:

    • On March 29, 2021, the vaccine edibility phase will include individuals age 40 or older. As able, vaccination sites should prioritize remaining phase 1a and 1b-eligible Kentuckians, particularly individuals 60+, as individuals within that category face a higher COVID-19 mortality risk according to CDC guidelines.
    • By April 12, all Kentuckians age 16+ will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccines.

Mississippi

Currently eligible:

    • Mississippians Age 16 and Older Are Eligible for Vaccination
    • If you are 18 or older, you can be vaccinated at any of our drive-through sites at no cost.
    • Persons younger than 18 should make a drive-through site appointment by calling 877-978-6453, or visit a private healthcare provider for COVID-19 vaccination to ensure that they receive a vaccine approved for their age.
    • COVID-19 vaccinations are provided to Mississippi residents only, or to out-of-state residents who work in Mississippi.
    • Persons aged 16 and older can receive the Pfizer vaccine, and those 18 and over can receive the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
    • Pregnant women, lactating women and those who are immunocompromised may take the vaccine; however, consultation with your healthcare provider is recommended.
    • You can be vaccinated if you have tested positive for COVID-19 if you wait until your isolation period is over and your symptoms have significantly improved.
